Extra Curricular Activites

Middle School students have the opportunity to participate in many school and non-school (parent planned) extra-curricular activities.

Extra-curricular activities offered at school:

• Chess Club (grades 1-6)
• Drama Club (grades 4-8)
• Guitar-Beginning (grades 4-8)
• Guitar-Advanced (grades 6-8)
• Mad Science (grades 1-6)
• Robolab  (grades 5-7)
• Science Fair (grades 6-8)
• Spanish Camp (grade 8)
• Yearbook Club (grade 8)

The Student And Family Enrichment Committee at St. Stephen’s School (SAFE), organizes some non-athletic extracurricular activities for students and families during the school year.  This committee was formed in order to provide additional opportunities for students whose interests lie outside of athletics, as well as to provide more community building opportunities for school families throughout the school year. 

Goals for the enrichment programs to families and students are:

• Helping the needs/interests of a greater number of students
• Building student social networks by meeting others with similar interests across grade levels
• Offering community building events helps families meet each other
• Ennhancing the school’s marketability
