To Serve

All we have is a gift from God.  God has loved us and called us to love our neighbor as ourselves.  This is not only a command that God gives to us, but a need that we have.  Real love always gives—it is in giving that we receive.  Here at St. Stephen’s there are many opportunities for sharing the gifts God has given us: personal stewardship, volunteer opportunities, liturgical ministry, community outreach and more. 

We are called to give of ourselves as Jesus did:

“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.  Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.”
