Volunteer

In addition to providing a concrete example of service to others, parents volunteers fill an ever-increasing need for staff support.  All Volunteers will have a background check done and attend a Virtus training session.  Register on-line at www.virtus.org.

We hope that you will get a chance to volunteer in our school this year.
Our Archbishop has required that all adults who work with children:

• Complete a background check.  If you need a background check form, you may request one from the school office.
  

• Attend a Virtus training session designed to create a safe environment for our children.  Youwill need to register online at www.virtus.org.  When selecting the organization, choose St. Paul and Minneapolis Archdiocese (MN).

• Every volunteer will also need to sign and comply with the Volunteer Code of Conduct at the beginning of EVERY school year.
  

These expectations are mandatory and are important; you must complete all three steps before you can volunteer or chaperone.

All parents/guardians are encouraged to volunteer their time and talents in one or more of the areas listed below.  If you have any questions about any of the areas, please do not hesitate to call the school office, and leave a message for our volunteer coordinators.
