Students in Middle School attend core and encore classes taught by a licensed specialized teacher in their field.  Core classes are taught everyday and consist of:  Formation, Math, Literature, Social Studies, and Science.  Encore classes are taught everyday for half of the school year and consist of:  Art, Music, Physical Education, and Spanish.  The Media Center and Computer Lab are available to all middle school students during designated times.  St. Stephen’s School also has laptops available for teachers to incorporate into their teaching/classroom.

Each quarter an Honor Roll, based on academic achievement, is compiled.  Students qualify for the Honor Roll according to their grade point average.  Honor Roll consists of Highest Honors, High Honors and Honors.

Middle School students also have an Advisory class each morning.  The Advisory teacher is also a middle school teacher and is responsible for monitoring the student's progress throughout the school year.  They conference with the parents and students during Fall and Spring conferences.  Any issues or concerns that the parent has regarding their middle school child, would be addresses with their child's Advisory teacher.
