All Day, Everyday Program
St. Stephen's Kindergarten program is all day, everyday. Our school day is from 7:45 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.
Age Requirements
Children must be 5 years old by September 1st to enroll in our Kindergarten program.
Classrooms
We have two kindergarten classrooms with a limit of 26 student per class.
Teachers
There are two kindergarten teachers (Mrs. Mary Kay Wesp and Mrs. Deb Cherney), and one kindergarten aide (Mrs. Karen Toews.)
Daily Schedule
Here is an example of a day in kindergarten: morning meeting, Formation, Language Arts, Skills practice/free time, Specials, Reading, Printing, Lunch/Recess, Math, Specials, Centers, Free time, Rest/Snack, Outside or Reading, Dismissal.
Lunch/Snack
Students have the option to purchase a hot lunch, salad bar, a milk, or bring their own lunch from home. Students should bring a snack each day.
