Summerfest

This year, our annual celebration of faith, community, family and fun will be held on June 20, 21 and 22. Admission is free! A weekend filled with free live entertainment, a giant raffle with over $10,000 in cash prizes, bingo, games, rides, pull tabs, classic car show, water wars, beer garden, and good food all highlight this year's line up.

Car Show

June 21, 2008 10am-4pm This is the FREE Anoka Classic car show being held with Summerfest. The car show will award a People’s Choice award. Door prizes will be drawn for show participants. Awards will be given out at 3:30pm.

Wellness Van

Sunday, June 22, from 11AM to 3PM. Mercy and Unity Hospital's presents the Wellness Van which brings health screening to community members, including a health questionnaire, blood pressure, total cholesterol, HDL, HDL ratio and blood sugar. Using the questionnaire and results from the clinical testing a personalized risk analysis report will be sent to each participant. This report will outline for the participant any risk factors they might have for different medical conditions. Normally there is a cost of $20 for the non-fasting cholesterol, HDL and blood sugar screening, but for the first 55 people that visits the van it will be FREE, thanks to matching funds generously provided by the Knights of Columbus-Anoka Council #2018 and Mercy and Unity Hospitals. This program is part of the Hospitals’ commitment to improving the health of the community.
