Annual Events
Parish Garage Sale
The Parish Garage Sale typically occurs on a Friday and Saturday in mid-August. This year's sale dates are August 13 and 14, 2010.
When putting things aside for donation, remember that clothing must be clean, unstained and in good repair. Items that will NOT be ACCEPTED include TVs, computer equipment (other than software), stereo systems, exercise equipment, telephones, office machines, microwave ovens, space heaters, mattresses, car seats, cribs, stuffed animals, Christmas trees, magazines, anything requiring filters, i.e. humidifiers, air conditioners, etc.
No lotions, creams or shampoos will be accepted unless unopened and safety sealed. All electronics and appliances must be clean and in good working order.
Unsold large appliances will need to be reclaimed by the person who donated the item to avoid having the church incur a disposal fee.
Donations may be dropped off at the school during the following dates/times:
Saturday, August 7 from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 8 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Monday, August 9 from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 10 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 11 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Please consider volunteering to help at the Garage Sale. It’s a great way to meet and enjoy fellowship with other parishioners AND all volunteers, regardless of the day they work, are given the opportunity to pre-sale. We are especially in need of people to help during the opening shifts on the days of the sale to provide extra help checking people out and carrying items to cars. Also, much help is needed Saturday afternoon to tear down. These would be especially good shifts for our high school and college youth. Please consider helping out at the sale.

They are typically sold after Masses and in the Parish office. If there are tickets remaining, they will be available at the door on the day of the brunch. The menu includes eggs, sausage, french toast sticks, pancakes, milk, juice and coffee. And of course, Santa will be coming through to chat with children of all ages!

The “For Kids Only” gift shop occurs in conjuction with Brunch with Santa. This is a time for children to purchase Christmas gifts for their parents by themselves. Most gifts are $5.00. There are volunteers available to help the children shop and purchase their gifts. The kids get such a kick out of surprising their parents too! It’s a lot of fun for everyone involved.
