Vacation Bible School

We have a great program to look forward to every summer at St. Stephen's! Our VBS program is held during the first week of August, Monday through Thursday. We begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at noon each day.  

This fun program involves 180+ children and over 100 volunteers. Children who have completed one year of preschool and are 4-years-old through children who have completed 5th grade become members of a VBS crew and learn catchy bible songs, play teamwork building games, nibble tasty treats and experience Bible adventures that remind them of God’s presence in their lives.

Our special week at VBS ends with a family picnic on Thursday evening.

We’re searching the high seas for 200 kids and you can help make a splash this summer at Vacation Bible School August 2-5, 2010!

Our goal this summer is to reach 200 with God’s love at High Seas Expedition and here’s how you can help!  It will take 40 + volunteer Crew Leaders to serve 200 kids.  Crew Leaders don’t have to prepare anything; they just get to do some really fun stuff like attend VBS each day (You know that will be great!) and participate in fun activities while building relationships with a group of five kids (Who could say no to that!) and arrive 20 minutes early to greet crew members each day.  (Hug, anyone?) >Click here for more information about being a Crew Leader.

Summer Vacation Bible School 2010 will take place Monday, August 2 through Thursday, August 5 from 9:00 a.m. to noon.  VBS is a great family summer time activity as it offers volunteer opportunities for older siblings, parents and grandparents too.  If you are currently working on summer plans, you’ll want to make a splash at the High Seas Expedition!
